My client requested a large, open kitchen, for the many social gatherings that she enjoys hosting. Her new kitchen is now perfect the perfect place for parties, with it's large, free-form island that can accommodate four, or more, stools. A built-in matching sideboard fits into the alcove under the windows in the dining room, providing extra storage and a long serving counter. Adjoining the kitchen is the new bar area, with an extra sink, and plenty of storage for glasses, wine and liquor bottles. The bar overlooks the living room below, which includes a fireplace with new granite surround that matches the kitchen counters.
